The “Jack” is a favourite at big events in the NT such as the BARRA NATIONALS and the BARRA CLASSIC.
The lure has credited itself with catching the biggest fish in these events. The Goulburn Jack continues to be a favourite lure for catching point scoring fish and is a favourite of many big name anglers fishing these events. The lure also has a healthy following with Murray Cod and Yellowbelly anglers as well.
THE GOULBURN JACK
The Goulburn Jack dives to around 5 metres. It is successfully used on rock bars and structures due to its positive buoyancy which enables it to back out of structure reducing the chance of snagging. It is no wonder this lure has a reputation for delivering. The Goulburn Jack is 90mm in length, weighs approximately 18g and is fitted with 2 heavy duty VMC (3xstrong) #1 treble hooks and heavy duty split rings. The body of the lure is made from ABS plastic and the bib is made from polycarbonate.
