Billabong and B52

Billabong and B52

We hit the Billabong just on sun Down and as the night kicked in a we could see a lot of large mullet had moved out to the middle of the bong. My self and my fishing buddy Lee Abraham both tied on big b52,s and first troll I hooked up to a nice barra around the mid 60cm range. As I fought my barra Lee flick retrieved his lure and hooked up to another good barra turning it into a double hookup!!

We fished until 2am that morning and the action was pretty much non stop the whole time!!! We estimated that we had landed 40+ fish between us that night with 90% being on the B52,s.

At one stage later in the night I even had a big barra hit my B 52 just as I clicked my brand new calcutta into gear and the force of the strike tore  out of my hands and into the billabong!! Lucky we managed to snag the line on Lees rod and we somehow managed to retrieve it!!

We had a quick fish the next morning and I was also able to hook and land a nice saratoga using my favourite green B52.

Cant wait for the Big asses to get here the big Barra love them so much I have exhausted my supply!!

Thanks for a great product

Regards

Happy Customer

I walked into your factory unannounced one day a few months back. I was working at Don Dale and was making hand carved balsa lures with the kids?.

While I was there I mentioned I was heading out over Easter to fish the Alligators. You gave me two new lures, even before they hit the shelves. This added with all the bibs etc you loaded me up with made me feel so appreciative and reaffirmed my belief that sometimes there are decent people out there who just like doing things to see other people happy.

Anyway, I moved out to Maningrida and have taken over from one of your mates, Anthony Gomes.  I was telling him how well you looked after me and he said he knew you. So I thought youd appreciate a couple of photos of your lures doing what theyre designed to do. Don't know why, but the barra are inhaling this particular colour, giving the green and red one a wider berth (maybe cause ive caught fish on this one too I instinctively go for it straight out of the box).

Been doing a bit of fishing with Ant as well, hes teaching me a thing or two. Poor b astard though, I think he misses homelands a bit.

By the way, the lures we made surprisingly swim straight and true, just haven't had the faith in them they probably deserve?.

Coming back in over term break, I think ill come see you and load up for the build up.
